How “Dead Broke” Hillary Clinton Views Income Inequality
Yesterday, in an email, Clinton said “the average CEO makes about 300 times what the average worker makes.”
According to reports, Clinton is paidat least $200,000 per speech and has been paid as much as $300,000.
According to the United States Census Bureau, in 2013, the average earnings for working Americans was $45,647.
Clinton makes 4.4 times the average yearly earnings of an American worker in just one paid speech.

Unlike the average worker, Clinton makes that amount in only 90 minutes.
Clinton made nearly as much as the “average CEO” she described, when she received an $8 million advance for her memoir detailing her years as first lady, Living History.
It was reported that Clinton received a $14 million dollar advance for her most recent book Hard Choices, more than the average CEO she portrayed.
